What is Reiki?
Reiki is an alternative form of energy healing based on an Eastern belief that vital Energy flows through your body. The word Reiki is broken down into two parts, "Rei" (meaning" Universal") and "Ki" (meaning "Life Energy"). These words form the term "Reiki" which means Universal Life Force Energy. This energy is believed to be present in every living being. The Reiki practitioner (Master), who has undergone formal training in this healing art, uses gentle hand movements and places their hands just above your body with the intention to guide the flow of healthy energy (whats known in Reiki as Life Force Energy) through the clients body to help guide this energy in a way that leads to balance and Healing.
